About us

Sustainable world powered by renewable energy

THE FUTURE BEGINS TODAY

BIOTECH ENERGY

The Biotech Company from Hamburg, produces protein-based animal feed for cattle and second-generation biofuels using biogas and green electricity generated in-house. In addition, CO2 trading certificates can be issued to national companies. Surplus energy is fed into national power grids.

With our developed technology, BIOTECH ENERGY is making a significant contribution to climate protection, food security and environmental protection: feed grain is used more effectively. If the food supply situation remains unchanged, feed grain is produced without using additional agricultural land. For food production, BIOTECH ENERGY produces 2G biofuel, protein-containing concentrated feed and agricultural by-products.

Adding small amounts of a special type of algae to concentrated feed reduces methane emissions in cattle by up to 90%.

Biofuels make a major contribution to decarbonization. Biofuels obtained directly from agricultural crops (1st generation) will no longer have access to the market in the EU from 2030. To protect food security, after 2030 only biofuels produced from waste and/or residues and certified as 2nd generation and synthetic fuels will be permitted as pure fuels or for blending.
